Imperial or metric??28 Sep 2007 00:46 GMT9
I have been looking around to get an additional dive computer and I
have been seeing quite a lot of such items on sale on ebay.co.uk. Now,
perhaps this is an extremely silly question, but what unit system is
used on computers sold in the UK and Irland? Metric or Imperial?

Dive Cameras25 Sep 2007 13:49 GMT2
Does anybody use any budget underwater/dive cameras that they can
recommend.   I am looking to spend around £130 (USD$260), looking for
something that can take depths of 13-18m, and is not too bulky.
I have seen some good things said about the Vivitar 5188, but all the
Diving in South of France23 Sep 2007 08:50 GMT3

want to dive with our CCR's.

What interest me is that the vast majority of diving incents if not
all involve dives with buddy's so how good is the buddy system well
after nearly 30 years of diving I've not seen much evidence to support
it as being a safer way of diving.
Greek recommendations.19 Sep 2007 19:55 GMT4
Thinking of a family hol to Greece in summer 2008. Thinking will get some
diving in while the land mammals sun themselves.
Question is - where are the best dive sites in Greece? This being a
combination of course of something good underwater with a good dive op that
Buying regs - which type of frst stage?11 Sep 2007 23:42 GMT16
Me and the wife have just completed the PADI openwater course, and
decided to buy our own kit.  During the PADI course, we used the type
A (attach over connector and tighten 'holder') connection, but when we
bought our own regs, the instructor said to get DIN type regs.
Welsh diving recommendations.09 Sep 2007 13:57 GMT12
I am a trainee diver, almost got my SAA Club Diver, so am qualified
currently to SAA Open Water level. I've done 18 dives, mostly in the UK sea,
and I've got all my own kit. I'm off work next week. My club has nothing
arranged, so I'd like to know if anyone can recommend any of ...
wet or dry suit?09 Sep 2007 13:50 GMT10
I'm about to buy my first suit which is going to be used along UK South
Coast and various other locations in UK. I've been looking on the web
for reviews and advice but I get conflicting information. The majority
seem to say that it is best to buy a dry suit straight out which ...
