I remember a couple of posts on the forums about similar difficulties
the day before I lost it.
Oh For F***s Sake...21 Sep 2005 02:27 GMT8

While I sympathise with the couple who were stranded (must have been more
than a little scary being lost at sea, especially being recently certified
divers), the media is off on one again with it's "Shark Infestations",
Diving North Carolina20 Sep 2005 17:43 GMT6

Safe diver, dangerous or just plain stupid20 Sep 2005 07:31 GMT10
I have just spent the last evening in the pub catching up on a recent
trip to Scapa Flow that I wasn't able to go on.  During the conversation it

UKRS dive in Eastbourne next year?19 Sep 2005 07:23 GMT2

August would be good choices judging by the current list.
I was thinking of using Dave Ronnan of Dive 125 (www.dive125.co.uk)
reg service18 Sep 2005 16:03 GMT1

Spiro I was told it was not worth doing.
Fantastic book15 Sep 2005 20:40 GMT12
Just read (in one sitting of 6 hours!)"Diving at Shadows" about the
discovery of a U boat off the coast of New Jersey.
Absolutely brilliant, good mixture of diving story and historical facts
- the divers spent years finding out which one it was and the stories of
Swanage Campsites15 Sep 2005 18:33 GMT4
Not strictly diving (because I'm not going for diving purposes...) but you
chaps are bound to know...
What's a good campsite around Swanage for a weekend away?  Good views and
stuff are more important than facilities...

Buying a single fin13 Sep 2005 19:35 GMT37

tutor managed to lose one of my fins for me ... and I have only used
them once!
