Just noticed that Hurricane Katrina has gone pretty much straight over the
top of you.  My thoughts are with you just now in what must be a bit of a
scary time.

Any recommendations for dive operators/clubs and sites in the area?.
Preferably C.M.A.S.

Looking to go to Maldives in a couple of months with the wife. She is
certified but only just. She's a beginner. She also doesn't want to see
sharks. (She's afraid she will freak out). She does not intend to dive every
day.

The markings on my clyinders are hard to decipher. Anyone have a visual

Just had my cylinders tested ie Full hydro, both passed and got the
appropriate Idest stickers and certificates with details of whats been done.
When I got them back All the required details are on the certificate. I
later noticed that it looks like to dive shops forgot to fill ...

I've looked around because we'll be in Thailand at Christmas/New
Year-Santana have a nice website but I would value any personal
recommends-we won't be taking lessons/courses,so just your thoughts on the

I've a few brand new Aluminium backplates for sale, these are professionally
CNC machined, finished and folded in aircraft grade aluminium and hard
anodised (titanium grey).
I made up a batch for some members of my dive club, but there were some
cylinder test and inspection periods17 Aug 2005 19:00 GMT5
Whats the test and inspection requirements for new and existing cylinders?
ie periods for visuals and hydro.
I've read that much conflicting information now a tad confused.
