| Perforated eardrum & risk of repeat | 31 Aug 2005 20:47 GMT | 4 |
I was unfortunate enough to perforate my eardrum recently. Quite an interesting experience as there wasn't much pain at the time and I didn't force clearing, and it happened at about 30 metres (I thought most problems happened in the first 10 metres or so). I never had had

| Ear Problem - would you go on a booked Liveaboard | 31 Aug 2005 11:28 GMT | 9 |
We are booked on a Liveaboard, (Asmaa, from Marsa Alam - St. Johns), on Thursday, and my other half is having problems equalizing. Looks like congestion in the E. Tubes, and she has tried all kinds of things to clear them, including steroids.

| easy diving for photography | 30 Aug 2005 23:05 GMT | 2 |

Am looking at one of these hotels for a one week break in October. Movenpick looks like a nicer hotel but diving more varied at Shams Alam. Anyone had good/bad experiences of either hotel and the attached diving centres? Thanks, T

I've been forced to replace my computer. I bought a Nexus quite a while ago, because at the time they seemed pretty cheap compared with other Nitrox computers that were on offer in the place I was shopping. Since I bought it I've used its two mix

| Too many fatal diving incidents | 29 Aug 2005 20:57 GMT | 43 |
I look after the diving newsfeeds for ukdivers.net and just lately (i. e. this season) there seems to be a awful lot more fatal diving incidents. Are we getting too adventurous or too complacent, or is this the norm?
