I'm an occasional diver and my girlfriend has never dived before.
We're off to Florida in a couple of weeks for a couple of weeks and we
hope to get a couple of dives in for me and an introductory dive for
her.  We've got bog-standard travel insurance via my bank, but it

My buddy is only qualified to dive to 18m, are there any dive sites
around the north or west of Ireland you recommend we should try
out?

Thanks to all for their help with red filters and lighting underwater -
I've bought a strobe kit on ebay, but am missing the Velcro mask thingy,
which goes on the end of the fibre optic link, and in front of the
camera flash.

A pal and I have finally got together to do some shore diving (midweek)
and plan to visit the South Coast. But where to go? Ideally we'd like
to see some nice drop-off and a wreck or two not too far from a beach

I have the large McMahon reel and want to put more line on it, it comes
with 50M and I suspect it can take quite a bit more. Any hints on
cheapest place to get line from? I am considering if it's better to get
the thin line like the compact has to get even more on or sticking to

How much would you expect a service of a Scubapro Mk16 1st stage, and
R380 2nd stage and Octopus, assuming a test, clean, and fitting of a

Planning a weekends RIB diving out of  Lymington.
Got the usual guide books, but looking for personal experiences of
anything good in the area (range 15 Nm-ish max.).
Some of the group are relatively inexperienced so probably 25m max.

UKRS havent run a chamber dive since Feb 04. Is there enough interest yet to
run another trip?

I recently got back from the US (this morning) and thanks to Lee I managed
to get an day's diving in Florida.
