Hi all! hope everyone had a fine holiday.
Can anyone tell me in very simple steps how i can transfer data from a
dive manager from one computer to another? I keep my stuff on my work
pc and am having a new puter and the data is stored on the pc hard

I know this is a scuba Ng but its the closest I could find ...
I'm going to do a lot of snorkelling in the Caribbean in a couple of months
and I'm dubious about these "plastic" bag type of camera waterproofing for
video camera's.

Well my son bought me a palm zire for xmas thought it would enable me to
keep a check off everyones club telephone numbers and details, But have
been wondering if there is any diving related software. eg, Deco, dive
planning or logs available.

   How often do you have your 100% O2 inspiration cylinder tested?
   My understanding was every 2 years under the old BS 5430 for internal
visual and 4 years for hydrotest; moving to 2 1/2 Years + 5 for the new EN
1089 testing regime.

I would like to know what others who have bought BACKPLATE NUTS from
Portland Oceaneering have found.
My situation is that the website and answers to e-mail differ and I have
found it dificult to get a follow up to questions.

Anyone know any? Need to try and find a couple of spaces for a weekend
in January, anyone got any suggestions?

Just completed the TDI Deco-Procedures course (very humbling, and
eventually enjoyable).
Our instructor recommended VPlanner (but demonstrated several others
including Vplanner, Proplanner GAP and mentioned ddplan).

After hitting dive no 180 in the red sea last month, (next trip in Dec
so should hit the 200 mark, i'm so excited!!) I've decided that a
second / redundant air source is next on the shopping list.  Hoping
the UKRS stalwarts will have some good advice (bit of a lurker i'm
