Paypal sellers beware08 Nov 2004 17:00 GMT9
Having recently sold my rebreather, I feel it is in the
public interest to warn people that if they accept
payment via PayPal, they are likely to get stung for
a fee of 3.4% plus 20p on any money that is transferred
Cave course winter locations08 Nov 2004 14:25 GMT10
My missus & I are planning to do a cave course in Xmas 2005.
The most local place for us (Brits) would seem to be in Menorca, Gozo or the
Balearic Islands, but it might not be warm enough (compared to our normal
winter break in the Canary Islands), so we're looking fro some advice ...

Backplates07 Nov 2004 15:26 GMT32
After several years in the backplate business it no longer seems
sense for Combro, purveyors of fine micro electronics, to still be in
the heavy metal trade. Woz at http://www.kitfondle.co.uk/ is
producing a selection of finished plates and I haven't the heart
Air integrated and guages07 Nov 2004 13:48 GMT12
I was hoping someone could tell me what happens to an air integrated
computers gas absorbtion modelling when it losses contact (albeit
unlikely and for a short period of time) with it's transponder? Does
it continue to calculate the dive as per a non-integrated computer?
Muff diving07 Nov 2004 13:39 GMT2

He asks questions like: Are two first stages mandatory? pony bottle? what
Airfills North of Aberdeen?05 Nov 2004 21:32 GMT1
Does anyone know where I can get airfills (non-nitrox) within a few
miles of Oldmeldrum?  The trek to Aberdeen and back gets a bit tiring
- especially at rush hour.
Thanks
Diving in Patagonia.05 Nov 2004 19:19 GMT1
I consider a chance of diving in southern Patagonia when sailing there around Terra del Fuego in January.
The point might be local regulations, equipment avaiability, etc.
The ports of call would be Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Fort Williams, anchorages.
Has anybody got some experience ...
