No-take zone in Lamlash Bay, Arran (Petition)13 Nov 2004 09:32 GMT7
    You may have seen the BBC program some months back on the action of
some divers and concerned residents on Arran about fishing in Lamlash
Bay. The Community of Arran Seabed Trust, COAST, are attempting to
create a no-take zone in this area. This will hopefully restore the

Hi all, I have just done my PADI owd course whilst away on holiday and am
looking to keep the diving going now back at home in the UK.
Obviously as a new diver with only four dives under my belt I would like to
join a club or organisation in the uk (preferably in kent) have found

Change of plan and am going to the Maldives in February.  Before I book it,
has anyone been to the Lily Beach Resort (South Ari Atoll) ?  It's been
highly recommended by 2 people I know.

I've just picked up a Nik II very cheap and the only issue seems to be
that the focus ring in the lens is seized up.
Does anyone have a copy of the repair manual (or some diagrams) so that
I can check that what I'm doing  is right...

After my fabulous days diving on Sunday (Dive 1 - missed the mark, Dive 2 -
broke a fin strap) I decided that it was probably worth getting some more
spares together.

I dived the 16th Century wreck at the weekend - pics (not very good) are on
my website temporarily, www.chrystianne.com, (hit the british flag )along
with some corals taken from another hull (better pics) that was sunk in
there some 12 or so months ago.

Been offered some free cylinders, they are all out of test ,,, expired mid
90's.
Is it worth taking these on, and putting them in for full test, visual
