My club & I are off for a weeks livaboard out of Sharm in a few weeks time. Does anyone know if the bombing of the Hilton in Egypt has caused any reason why it would cause problems with this?

| Unidentified / virgin wrecks | 07 Oct 2004 22:36 GMT | 13 |
The thing that drew me to scuba 2/3 years ago was love of history and being able to experience first hand bits of it - if that makes sense... Do you know of any organised groups (official or not) who dive for the specific purpose of finding and identifying new wrecks?

| Twin 12's - tall or dumpy | 07 Oct 2004 22:06 GMT | 25 |
I know tall 12's seem to be the standard for twin 12's, but does anyone here use dumpys? I used dumpy 12s over the summer (as independents), but want to get a manifolded setup in the next couple of months (probably Christmas, but possibly dive show). I'm pretty set that 12's is ...

| 10LTR twin or 12LTR | 06 Oct 2004 07:26 GMT | 1 |
I currently have twin 10's and am thinking about going to twin 12's. Diving to max depth 45m typically with no more than 15mins deco on 50%. Mostly club/rib diving with the odd hardboat. Having trouble reaching my valves with the 10's and wondered if going to

Is anyone involved in this? I discovered this by chance on a google search. Apparently BSAC clubs up and down the country are offering free "try dives" this week. I've been reading this group almost every day this week and last but no-ones

| More digi camera stuff. | 05 Oct 2004 16:43 GMT | 13 |
There seems to be an awful lot of digital camera questions going around the group ATM, and I apologise for adding another. I'm thinking of getting one and a housing, and spotted a deal on cameras underwater for the Fuji F700 and housing (the deal ain't there any more) and

| Carantan wreck, Swanage - worth a dive? | 05 Oct 2004 11:19 GMT | 4 |
Got a boat full of divers going out of Swanage this Tuesday and it looks increasinly likely that we're not going to be able to dive the Aeolian Sky (the original plan) so the itinerary is going to have to change. One option is to do the Kyarra but that's already our second dive ...
