Basic u/w camera15 Oct 2004 11:58 GMT17
Have previously used a basic u/w camera (remember the old vivitar 35m with
housing)
Results were as you would expect flaky. OK in clear water at a couple of
mtrs, and poorer results at depth (blue cast)

Hi everyone14 Oct 2004 11:08 GMT1
I have www.divetheworld.com and it's been pointed out to me that a lot of
aviation enthusiasts are refering to it as an aviation site.  This I would
like to rectify.  As most of the photos are of aircraft and no shipwrecks I
thought I would appeal to the diving community for some ...
Sinking housing - maths problem and advice sought !!13 Oct 2004 19:34 GMT29
Anyone out there able to help me?
I've been using a SeaPro housing for my video camera but have found that it
is quite difficult to hold steady as it is quite seriously negatively
buoyant - i.e. bloody heavy, ready to go in the water it weighs approx 7.5kg

Digital Camcorder advice13 Oct 2004 09:44 GMT9
Total newbie stuff this,
off on mega-dive holiday next year and want to record as much as possible.
I've been doing still photos for a while but am thinking about upgrading to
a camcorder, as I don't think stills will do the place justice.

Thanks.
The NDC at Chepstow...12 Oct 2004 15:56 GMT13
So I'm just back from a weekends diving there. I say diving, but it was
really "dope onna rope" stuff, watching the freedivers do their stuff (or
not!)
Anyway - if you ever go there, and decided to wander off-site for any
Sea temps - Redsea and Carribbean11 Oct 2004 12:00 GMT3
I am sure that google will tell me - if I cant find the right words to put

Does anyone know the average sea temps for the Red Sea (sharm) for November,
and the Sea temp for the Carribbean for the same time?
ClosedCircuitRebreathers10 Oct 2004 16:35 GMT1
Brand new to rebreathers so hope these questions don't seem too stupid.
1, Is there a list of all currently available CCR's anywhere?
2, Is there a "best" CCR, or is it a personal preference?
3, Is there a best place to get info on CCR's including building one.
Who to Dive with in Gran Canaria?10 Oct 2004 10:07 GMT6
Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but I don't know where
to find the archives of this group.
I'm planning a little holiday to Gran Canaria, not been there before and
would appreciate any advice about any of the following...
