Got bored one afternoon so I borrowed a Nikonos V off a friend and went for

Dive Team steel backplates22 Apr 2004 15:41 GMT6
Having been doing some investigation of steel backplates at my LDS, I died
in horror at the price of a Dive Rite (more expensive than a Halcyon!). The
owner looked up a catalogue and found the DiveTeam plate which came in at a
more sensible price.

Are they any good and worth the £275 that they retail for ?

Which makes it very easy to find other dive buddies in your own UK postcode

Northern diver reg with servicing parts.21 Apr 2004 17:06 GMT4
I noticed in this months BSAC dive magazine that if you purcheased one of
the ND regs, they give you all the parts for your first service, if you
marched into your local dive shop armed with the bag of parts would they be
happy to install them for you do you think.

Unfortunately I can't see me making it this weekend despite the occasion.
I'm still jet lagged from a week in Florida and the stinking cold/flu so
kindly donated to me by the airline still hasn't cleared enough for me to
dive :-(

White Shark cage dive - trip report18 Apr 2004 12:11 GMT2
Was in South Africa over Easter, just for a short week fitted around a
wedding, but including a few days at the Kruger and a few days in the
