Suunto Vytec depth anomoly01 Apr 2004 00:19 GMT3
I had to return my Vytec as it showed depths as being between 3 and 5
metres shallower than reality and showed "Surface" while 3 to 5 metres
down!!

I am going to Cyprus (Paphos) in May and want to try some diving there. Can
anybody recommend any dive clubs there. Have looked on the net an Cy dive

I would like to connect my Aladin up to a ViewSonic V37 Pocket PC.  I'm
assuming, similar to my resposne to the palm query, that i'll need to get a
serial port available on the PPC, then just jack in the Aladin ...

I know there's dive centres in Hammamet and Port el Kantauoi (sp), as

Can't be arsed going abroad this September - well Mrs splosh says that 3
foreign holidays a year is enough!  Looking to do a week of Devon and
Cornwall.  Can anybody recomend a suitable base to cover both counties in a
week, preferably with a good food \ real ale pub within walking ...

Just a quick call for help, got a guy with a PRM qualification, didn't look
right in his book. Not being a BSAC establishment, cant tell if it is kosher
or not. Any one send me a rough picture of what one is supposed to look
like? thanks, not getting much help from elsewhere.

Bought my first twinset at the LIDS (arrgh..) and as its O2 clean, I'd like
to keep it that way, so I'm looking for a LDS to fill it locally to me here
in Swindon.. (aqualeisure closed about a year ago..). Or I understand I can
get it filled with triple filtered air and it'll be OK ...

I am going to Fiji for 12 weeks in the summer on a diving expedition
and I want to be able to take some underwater photos. Ideally I would
buy a digital camera and housing for underwater photography, but this
sort of set-up is expensive, and also impractical for my trip as I

Just wanted to say thanks to y'all for the advice over buying equipment. I
shall be visiting the LIDS tomorrow (err, today) and will be spending
loadsamoney I'm sure.
