Apeks TX and ATX regs...12 Feb 2004 17:18 GMT7
I've finally decided that it's time to put my old Oceanic regs out to
pasture so I'm now looking to replace them with two sets of Apeks regs. As
I'll be running them on a twinset, I've kinda settled on the DS4 first
stages rather than the flashier DST with its lovely 'point of ...

suunto vyper odd noise12 Feb 2004 10:11 GMT11
I have a Suunto Vyper which is four months old and has been in the

Diving in Oz10 Feb 2004 19:45 GMT8
A group of us (6) are having a family holiday in Oz in Aug / Sep & plan
to do a few days diving somewhere between Brisbane & Port Douglas.
I'd appreciate any recommendations of where is best to dive. I have
heard that Fraser Island is better that the G B Reef. Any comments?

littlun & biggun plugs for first stage10 Feb 2004 14:28 GMT11
I have several first stages all of which seem to have two different sized
holes for hp and lp. Are these holes standardised across all (or at least
most) first stages? What is the more correct size definition - are they
metric or imperial?
The dark side10 Feb 2004 12:30 GMT32
Just got back from a week on the MV Orchid on the stormy waters of the Red
Sea (aka the North Sea - Sharm region).  Bumped (bit hard not to in those
waves) into Huw Porter and a few pals.
A book about DIR and its principles mysteriously manifeted itself before my
OT: Orkut10 Feb 2004 09:33 GMT12
If any of the regulars want invites onto the new Google phenomenon Orkut
mail me and I'll get you one. If you're not enough of a computer geek to
know what Orkut is (ie you haven't been reading Slashdot or the Register
lately and missed it), you probably don't want an invite.
