Recycle for Lifeboats23 Jan 2004 18:04 GMT2
While none of us WANT to have to use the Lifeboat service, I'm sure we're
all glad it's there.
One way of helping raise some cash is to take part in their printer
cartridge and toner cassettes recycling scheme. It works by them providing a

Late package deals to Sharm - any tips?22 Jan 2004 22:18 GMT4
Persuaded the wife that we really need to spend a week away from the English
January gloom in the Red Sea, so arranged a week off work  the week after
next. I've tried a few of the tour operators I've used before with
surprisingly little available. Can anyone suggest a good operator ...
Good Service : Vandergraph/Scubapro(Uwatec)22 Jan 2004 18:22 GMT7
Icebreakers was a good chance to blow the cobwebs out (for me anyway), the
trouble being all that kit that needed attention. Still a few bits to sort
but a couple of examples of what customer service should be like IMHO -

Inflators22 Jan 2004 10:41 GMT64
I understand it's a good idea to 'standardise' your inflators so that they
fit both your dry suit and BCD in case of failure in one or the other. How
does this work and is it expensive? Currently have an Apeks valve on the
suit and Halcyon wing.

Magnetic sheet20 Jan 2004 22:12 GMT7
Does anyone know where I can get hold of flexible magnetic sheet? Its the kind of
thing that van signs are made of and would be very handy for cylinder marking.
Cheers,

Replacement P-valve bolt20 Jan 2004 12:14 GMT1
The bolt in my P-valve has gone walkabout.
Divers warehouse sell them for £12 each. O3 sell them for £15.
This seems a hell of a lot of money for a simple bolt that's had two
holes drilled in it. Can anyone recommend a cheaper source of bolts?
