Cross fill whip rated "200 bar"06 Nov 2003 20:58 GMT7
I recently ordered mail order a cross-fill whip from here:
http://www.danshop.com/30200.html
You can see it is rated "200 bar", though you can optionally purchase a "300
bar" version. I was in a bit of a hurry when I ordered, so presumed that the

Well looking out on a nice Summers day (Something I'm getting used

I was just wondering if anyone in this newsgroup has any opinion on the
Oceanic Pro-Ear 2000 dive mask.
Be it good or bad experiences, it will be greatly appreciated.
If you have ear problem and found this unit to be of great help in the
Aqua Repair kit...05 Nov 2003 14:57 GMT5
Popped into Underwater Explorers down at Portland today and asked them what
would be best for repairing the small tear in the outer cordura cloth of my
DiveRite Classic wing. They sold me an 'Aqua-Repair' kit which, despite
claiming to be an 'Emergency Dry Suit Repair Kit', ...
Probably a silly question - giant goldfish bowls!05 Nov 2003 14:56 GMT12
OK, so not necessarily a goldfish bowl, but I was just wandering whether
anyone knows of anywhere where a club could hire a big portable tank for
diving in.
Basically, something around 2m deep, minimum 3x3m square or bigger, which we

Flying Enterprise Dive05 Nov 2003 09:02 GMT6
I'm more a lurker than a member of UKRS, but I thought some of you might be
interested in this trip report.
Last Saturday (1 November 2003), despite the weather forecast, myself and 10
others made the 44 mile sea-journey from Plymouth to the Wreck of the Flying
Tanks04 Nov 2003 19:47 GMT16
I've been reading a lot about not being able to get 300 bar air fills, and
this seems to be a reason people give for getting 232 bar tanks.
Is it possible to get a 300 bar tank and only have it filled to 232 bar?

"Taking it off the weightbelt"04 Nov 2003 13:42 GMT3
In the Tanks thread it was mentioned again-
<I agree, but hopefully I can get 300 bar fills most of the time.
Also the extra weight may take some lead from my weights.>
I've always wondered why people would rather herniate themselves by heaving
Dive Watch04 Nov 2003 01:41 GMT12
Due to being recently certified to dive, but being between jobs at the
moment, I need to find a cheap dive watch. As soon as I am in employment
again I shall be buying a computer, but for the meantime, all I really
need is a way of checking the time and length of dive (I can write ...
