| Red sea in Jan. | 17 Nov 2003 16:04 GMT | 3 |
Having been to the show on Saturday, I'm not much wiser of where to go for a first visit to the Red Sea. I'm looking to go during the first week in Jan for a week. I'm not after liveaboards due to non-divers hanging along.

| Kit Try Outs at IceB (Was Pony clamps - are they all as good as each other?) | 17 Nov 2003 10:18 GMT | 23 |
Part of the fun at IceB is usually to see how many people we can turn to the dark side (OC twins), or the yellow side!. Just for clarity though, many of the old timers bring along extra kit for people to try.

I have a scubapro neoprene drysuit but the inflation value is stiff and is a little slow to close when I release the button which lets more air into the suit than I want. I've decided to replace the valves but would like some advice on how to remove them so that I don't do any ...

Doing a bit of research before the dive show. Want to get a new BCD, something to use over here (basic 30m single tank diving) and suitable to use overseas (i.e lightweight, not like the Oceanic Chute that I have been using and weighs a ton)

Planning to go to the show this year for the first time. I have already read that parking is extra, however how close can you park to the NEC (I am guessing the carparks are airport style and you need a bus back!) If so and I go and buy a twinset, 2 15ltr cylinders and 100kg of lead

Got my ticket for the dive show and notice that it says "unlimited parking" but doesnt mention a fee so most people would guess it was free (or at least comparable to a Pay&Display for a few hours) particulary as they are spending ?9.50 to get in!
