1. Is it considered a commercial venture if a privately owned rib in
the UK takes a bunch of divers out, where the divers are sharing costs
( fuel, launching fee ) -  ? It is definitely not a business, and
there is no profit, but money does change hands.

What's the current selling price of the Inspiration in the UK?
I am fascinated by the idea of having a constant po2 but according my LDS it
costs about the same then a second hand dive rib! ( approx. 7.500 euros)

The last couple of years I've been to Thailand and Maldives (29*c) and just

After dithering for a while I went out and got myself an Olympus 5050z on
Saturday. Now I'm trying to pluck up the courage to get an underwater
housing for it, the Olympus one, PT015, I think.
Anyway, now my question. In general, how effective are housings at keeping

I've just got my cylinders back from their annual O2 clean. ?90 this year
for three cylinders and valves, my small 3L actually failed (rust) and I'm
replacing it. The cost breaks down as ?22 per cylinder plus ?8 each for a
shot clean, all three of them!

Does someone have a spare copy or is it downloadable as a PDF?
I've tried the Citizen website download centre, and have downloaded the new
Graph 2.1 and the PDF for that, but no mention is made for the watch manual.

Anyone out there with the above? I am trying to get a medical to enable
me to do my PADI O/W course. The doctor that my dive shop told me to
contact said ' not under any circumstances if you take any medication at
all, I don't care if you're stable and haven't had a hypo for 5 ...

I've just come down with Type I insulin dependant diabetes.
Anyone know if this will affect my ability to dive?
I've allready found that i can still do grade V caves, climb to F7b and
carry on being a member of the local Mountain Rescue team, so i'll be a bit

One of the things that i've never really understood about diving is its
obsession with good health anf logging everything.
As an active mountaineer, climber and caver, i can think of much eaiser ways
to kill myself than diving. None of these sports have anywhere near the
