Quick question, What's the procedure for transporting a self inflating DSMB by air? Obviously the bottle needs to be empty by is the bottle supposed to be open or closed?

Now that PADI no longer teach Buddy Breathing (since the advent of the octo/pony etc) is it still a useful skill (and worth practicing in the pool, shallows) or better to forget about it on the basis that it is likely to exaggerate problems?

I've got some free time (9/10 days) at the beginning of December, so I'm thinking of heading off somewhere to dive. I don't want it to be too cold (I don't want to need a drysuit), and I want to go somewhere that is not the Red Sea and not the Med.
