What's the procedure for transporting a self inflating DSMB by air?
Obviously the bottle needs to be empty by is the bottle supposed to be
open or closed?

So my local dive buddy has fled to Oz abandoning me at short notice to the
mercies of the commerical diver shops out here in the Sandwich Islands
(look it up!), so instead of chucking my gear in his car and going shore
diving (total cost $3 for the air fill), I have to dive to the ...

Now that PADI no longer teach Buddy Breathing (since the advent of the
octo/pony etc) is it still a useful skill (and worth practicing in the pool,
shallows) or better to forget about it on the basis that it is likely to
exaggerate problems?

Al the Portsmouth trip report has moved.  Any chance you can change it on

I've got some free time (9/10 days) at the beginning of December, so
I'm thinking of heading off somewhere to dive. I don't want it to be
too cold (I don't want to need a drysuit), and I want to go somewhere
that is not the Red Sea and not the Med.

Hi,  does anyone know where I could get a ladies size 18/20 wet suit.  Most
of them only go up to a 16.

Hi Guys & Girls,
Due to take my PADI IE at some point this year but due to time constraints
and work I have been considering taking a holiday and sitting the IE abroad
at the same time.

So I finally found some time to update the UKRS dive pages whilst out here
in the Sandwich Islands (look it up!) and noticed the amzaing fact that

to last year when a trip actually running seemed to be quite ...

Having just read the official AP valves website, I notice they quote an all
yellow dsmb as a signal marker
i.e more deco gas required due to an unforseen problem
My instructor has never mentioned colour coding of DSMB'S, is it a hard and
