As of 7/20, all liveaboards in the Galapagos are suspended except for
4 boats. That's right, all the rest are outright stopped from diving
anywhere. AFAIK<-grain of salt,

Can anyone recommend a shop or dive locations in Punta Cana?  I am
taking a family vacation there in August and would appreciate any
advice or recommendations for a couple of dives while I'm there.  I

The SS Thorfinn was in Pohnpei at the beginning of June, to take on
(lots of) fuel, other supplies, etc.  Apparently, as she was leaving,
she stranded herself near the harbor's entrance.
The ship is reportedly out of service until completing restorative

i spent a week in the company of capin lance on board the thorfinn
we had a great time on the best diving in the world and captin lance
was great to have around as it give us some one to take the pee out
of   (pappa gump and his shrimp boat)

the first wekk in December I'm heading over for one week in Las Vegas
and I'd like to give Lake Mead a dive in. Can anyone recommend some
good shops in LV, Henderson or the Make Mead area where I can charter
guided dives and scuba gear? Maybe there are some buddies in this

I'm looking for some short dives in Florida, I'll be staying in Kissamee
with 3 non-divers. Any ideas on locations that have kit hire and a short
trip time to dive site?

Planning on doing my coursework here in central VA then hooking up
with some friends to do open water dive someplace nicer:  FL,
Carribean, Jamaica, etc...  Looking for suggestions.  Don't want to
