We're going to be in Vietnam in July/August and would like to do some
diving.
Does anyone know what the conditions are like at that time of year?
If unfavourable, is there any other place in SE Asia which will be OK.

The Thorfinn ran aground on the 12th of this month. Somewhere off of
Pohnpei (sp) during the Thorfinn's Island Hopper annual trip.
Bad luck. It's gonna take some mighty resources and logistics to
unground her.

I'm trying to get a couple of friends together (we live in different
places) to get our PADI certificates then take our open water dive
together someplace nice.  Any tips / suggestions?  We all live on the
US East coast and are looking for a nice place to dive / relax

I just heard this, my other friend defined this place:

considered a jewel of the western part of Mediterranean. Its isolation
condition has influence in its unique fauna ,flora and natural places.

shore diving is the best on curacao. we believe the topograph on

We're thinking of a few days at BRR.  Have walked through the resort
many times (although it has been several years ago) and am familiar
with diving on the Brac.  I also like buffet food.
Has anyone stayed there recently?  If so how was it?

Any recommendations for diving in Tahiti for 2008.  We're considering a Star
Clipper ship instead of a liveaboard or ground based dive shop.
