Does anyone have any recommendations/cautionary tales about diving

Diving out of Cancun...12 Oct 2006 15:59 GMT5
We are going to Cancun this month, and have been checking out Cancun dive
shops on the Internet.  Some advertise pickup at your hotel and
transportation to Cozumel as a part of their package prices.  Does anyone
have experience with dive shops in Cancun offering Cozumel dive ...
Cancun Diving?12 Oct 2006 15:54 GMT16
I will going to Cancun in August (because that's as far as my free
Alaskan Airlines ticket will take me). Is the concensus out there that
the diving on Cancun is sub-standard and the place to dive is Cozumel?

snorkel vacation in Mexico?06 Oct 2006 15:05 GMT11
My husband and I are not divers, but really enjoy snorkelling, which we've
mostly done on the north shore of Kauai. We're not terribly adventurous,
and don't tend to go far from shore or dive deep. But we love to see a wide
variety of sea life and coral.

underwater use?
I am looking at the Fuji Finepix F30, but wonder if there are better
