Caribbean Diving in Oct. 06 - where safest?27 Sep 2006 02:14 GMT10
Planning to go for a week to dive in the Caribbean in Oct '06. Considering
hurricane season, weather, nice diving, shore or otherwise, what's safest? I
am thinking Bonaire or Cozumel (which I am told that is back on business and
the nice Palancar, Santa Rosa sites undamaged?

Cozumel Condos - south of town12 Sep 2006 04:44 GMT4
I am planning  a trip to Cozumel at Christmas - first trip down there
in 25 years.  I noticed there are what appear to be very nice condos
several miles south of town near the good dive sites.   A quick search
on the topic did not bring up any threads that appear on-topic.
Cancun to Cozumel11 Sep 2006 01:31 GMT9
It is way cheaper to fly to Cancun than to Cozumel where we want to
end up. Has anyone tackled the ferry scene? How hard is it to get from
the Cancun airport to Cozumel.
Thanks
Condition of reefs in Honduras?10 Sep 2006 03:50 GMT3
I am a relatively new diver.  I recently dove in Cozumel.  After three
dives, I was told that the reef had actually been devastated by Hurricane
Katrina.  Being a new diver, I guess I didn't know what I was missing.
Now, I am planning a trip to Honduras.  A few years back, it had a

St. Lucia lodging, dive operators?06 Sep 2006 00:24 GMT1
I'm planning to go to St. Lucia this February, and would like
recommendations on where to stay and what dive operator to use. I don't mind
traveling some to get from the hotel to the dive boat, I don't want an
operator that will hold my hand, and I'd like a hotel that has ...

Anyone hear about a fire on a cruise ship in Cozumel?
