We are taking a 10 day Alaska cruise next month, and I am looking for
info on dive shops and dive charters in Juneau or Ketchikan.  Has
Channel Dive Center in Juneau gone out of business?  Their web site
appears to be defunct.  Any suggestions/recommendations on dive shops I

Is there any diving off of the Alabama gulf coast?  We are planning a family
trip to Dauphin Island (a barrier Island off the coast of Alabama) and most
are not divers and the rest are casual divers  (and haven;t dove in years)
so I'm looking to see if we can maybe get in a dive ...

During our vacation to Aruba we were trying to rent gear from the local
5 or 6 dive stores. All of them had a policy of only renting equipment
if you have one of their instructors with them. In one store they rent
tanks but not BCDs. Since I have never had problems renting things ...

Thinking of trying a Bahamas liveaboard next year and I was hoping
someone might have tried a liveaboard sailboat called the Juliet. It
sails out of Miami and also runs trips to the Turks and caicos in the
winter. Anyybody try them?

are there?  I already know about Atlantis charters (and they come
well-recommended).  What else can people recommend, particularly for

OK, I'm doing a barbecue this evening, turkey and ribs. I have hickory,
apple and charcoal. What combination do you guys use? Do you even use
charcoal? and yes, I have a proper Texas style side box smoker.
