Maho Bay, Saint John USVI15 Feb 2005 15:44 GMT2
Anyone stayed here to know how it compares to other places on St. John?
Apparent appeal is that they're a low impact ecotourism organization.
Website is http://www.maho.org/
They have diving, but it looks to be pretty basic.
Bonaire Trip Report12 Feb 2005 17:00 GMT6
My wife, my dive buddy Ray and I just returned from eight days in Bonaire. A
few observations:
Lenny and Ivan took a toll. We were last in Bonaire in January 1999, before
Lenny struck in the Fall of 99 and Ivan last year. The comparison is stark.

Diving near Anaheim, CA?11 Feb 2005 13:38 GMT2
Can anyone recommend any good charters in the Anaheim/Long Beach area?
Shore diving would also be fine given a buddy who knows the area.  Time
frame around the end of this month.  Cold water is OK (I'm from New
England).  Wrecks would be a bonus.
Bermuda11 Feb 2005 08:03 GMT4
I am going to be in Bermuda, Saint Georges, by myself next Monday thru
Wednesday.  Any recommendations for dive operations in the Saint
George's area (or anywhere else, so long as they pick me up).
Thanks.
austin texas divers11 Feb 2005 00:08 GMT2
I am looking for dive buddies/friends in and around the austin area.
I'm more interested in diving in tropical locations, not the lakes. I
like to dive 4 or more times a year, have dove curacao, cozumel,
providenciales, and roatan.
Roatan, skeeters and sandflies08 Feb 2005 12:08 GMT2
When I was in Roatan, I met a fellow traveller from Europe.  While the rest
of us complained of many bites, she seemed to have had very few.  She showed
me this little gizmo that she carried around with her.  Here's an example:

Bonaire Excel08 Feb 2005 04:29 GMT1
I forgot to add information on this option to the trip report.
We took Bonaire Excel from Aruba to Bonaire and back. This operation has its
good and bad points.
Good: You may be able to get to Bonaire in one day from the hinterland
Cuba Referrals07 Feb 2005 14:30 GMT47
Does anybody know if it is possible to do either a PADI or BSAC course
in Cuab after doing a referral in the UK.
I have been asked by someone who is going to Cuba and would like do half the
course in the UK and finish off in Cuba
St.Croix07 Feb 2005 12:57 GMT2
Looking for new place to go.  Have been to Cayman, Little Cayman, Roatan,
Belize, Bonaire and Cozumel.  Was think of St. Croix but a Google search
really didn't turn up much current info.  Anybody been there?  Can you spend
a week or more diving mornings and afternoon?  Would you ...
Dive operator in Jamaica05 Feb 2005 12:02 GMT1
I'll be at Sandals in Montego Bay very soon.   I dove with a
non-hotel/resort affiliated dive company the last time I was there but I
can't remember the name.  I can't find anything on the web except resorts
and out of date pages.
Fiji - Best Diving ?05 Feb 2005 12:00 GMT7
Travelling to Fiji in June and have never been there before.
Where is the best diving?
I don't mind travelling off the beaten path and would prefer to avoid spending a small fortune.
I'm a OWSI and IANTD Deep Air/Nitrox certified...so advanced sites are OK for me.
Fiji Dive Operators and accommodation05 Feb 2005 11:57 GMT2
Anyone have recommendations on dive operators and accommodation in
Fiji.  For accommodation, I,m looking for a place that offers a small
kitchen (I like to cook my own meals) and private (non-shared)
facilities.
Barrier reef liveaboards04 Feb 2005 21:34 GMT1
I am from UK and visited Australia in Dec 2003. My wife and I did a 7 night
liveaboard on Spirit of Freedom, which was superb.
We are looking to return in dec 2005/Jan 2006 and would like to do another
liveaboard trip. Are there any new boats or does anyone have any
