The question of SMOKING and CAUSATION21 Jan 2005 22:07 GMT6
It's really amazing how a thread that started by Meatball on his
quitting of smoking -- turned into a tree-hugging crusade by Greg
Mossman, who has absolutely no knowledge about how CAUSATION can
be ascertained statistically, exhibited his gullable in any and all

Hi all --
My wife and I are celebrating our 20-year anniversary in 2006; we're
planning to go to either Cancun or Cozumel.
On our previous trip to Cancun, we stayed at the Camino Real, which had

Can anyone recommend a good hotel that's kid friendly? I dive, my wife
snorkels. The kids are 6 and 8. It doesn't have to be an all inclusive. We
actually prefer that it wasn't. Who would you recommend that I dive with
(advanced). Been to Cozumel many times and love it. We're ...
Brazil?18 Jan 2005 14:35 GMT6
We're thinking of going to Brazil next Christmas, and would like to go
diving.
So far, we've got Fernando de Noronha and Angra dos Reis, both of which
have been discussed in this group before.
Cruise Line diving18 Jan 2005 14:10 GMT3
I am looking at a cruise that goes to Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel, and Belize.
Any experience with going with local dive operations instead of cruise line?
We have all day layovers at some spots.
Palau and Aus power supply question17 Jan 2005 19:05 GMT9
I am planning a trip to Australia and Palau.  Can anyone tell me anything
about the electrical power supplies in these locations?  Can I use my

what the power supply is on Mike Ball's "Sea Sport" live-aboard ...

gili meno16 Jan 2005 17:50 GMT1
Is it worth going to Gili Meno for diving? What's the coral like? Is
there lots of fish, turtles, sharks ...
What about accommodation and dive base?
I read the island was malaria plagued - is that true?

Ben:
Please send a note to my e-mail with your e-mail address so that I can keep
you informed on the South Caicos trip. It looks like we might have three or
four rec.scubans.

Muitos amigos acham que eu estava em Phuket no momento do tsunami.
Na verdade eu deveria ter ido para lá para trabalhar como instrutor de
mergulho
em Novembro, mas graças a incompetencia de um dentista tive de adiar e
Ixtapa...Cabo...worth it?13 Jan 2005 16:42 GMT3

South Caicos13 Jan 2005 14:01 GMT6
If anyone is interested in a trip to South this late spring or summer, let
me know. I want to put together a group of about six for an eight night,
seven day trip. Hotel, diving (7x3 per day) and food will be about $1500.
About $200 less for two dives per day. All are single tank ...

Does anybody know what the sea conditions and marine life are in March?
Travel Advice11 Jan 2005 17:54 GMT8
Has anyone here used EVA? I'm flying to Bali in a while and EVA easily has
the best prices sitting up front. Saving the money would be nice, if the
airline is a good one.
My itinerary would be LAX to DPS ( I think the stop is in Taipei). While we
