So I learned to dive in Ko Tao Thailand 3 years ago, cost me about $200 CAN
to learn and pay about $10 CAN ($7.50 USD) per dive there. I have been back
twice as everywhere else I have been prices have been between $30 USD and

my boyfriend and i are going to burma for three weeks in january 2005. we
would love to go diving in burma since we are not going to have time to
travel to thailand or indonesia. we have searched the internet but only find
information about diving safaris organized from thailand to ...

i have decided to go on a week's diving holiday so that i can learn to
dive. only problem (?) now is deciding *where* to go on this holiday.
my initial idea is to go to the red sea (sharm el sheikh or dahab),
but i'm still not 100% sure... does anyone have any recommendations?

I would like to be able to dive the far southern and northern sites (Punta Sur,
Maracaibo, Barracuda) as well as those in between, and be picked up at the

It may be early, but our honeymoon is going to be the first week of August
in '05.  Neither of us have been to the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, or that area
at all.  We did dive Cozumel this January and loved it, but ...

Due to personal issues, I have to drop out of my space on a booking for a
one week trip to Scapa Flow.

with my SAA Club Ifield Divers from the 18th to 25th of September.

Any recommendations for a place to take lessons in Portland, Oregon?

I'm going to Indian Rocks Beach, FL over labor day weekend.  Any dive shop
