My wife won a weekend trip to Cabo - so we're going soon - she's looking forward to spending time at the spa... so I'm looking for things to do. I've never heard of anyone going to Cabo for scuba diving. Hey, there's an ocean, so there must be something to see, right? Any advice ...

Am staying at the Radisson in April and am looking for some info on dive operators. The Radisson web site says they have a PADI dive center at the hotel, but no other info - anyone have any direct experience with the outfit? Dive sites in shallow to intermediate (30-100')?

My good wife may have a convention scheduled for Vancouver the first week of June and I'm thinking of perhaps joining her on the trip. Is the diving close to Vancouver Island good, and is that early enuf to avoid the algae bloom? Thanks for any advice.
