So I killed the batteries in my dive lights earlier than I expected so I'm considering getting rechargeables. Are there any issues using rechargeables underwater? Will Li-ion batteries explode? How about nmh?

I've been seeing a lot on frameless masks lately, they're being advertised everywhere. The advertising claims are clear, there are magazine articles and comparisons but there's nothing as honest as real world experience.
