| looking for Alan Emery, who was involved with the Limos project (Tobermory) | 31 May 2008 04:33 GMT | 1 |
Looking to contact Alan Emery. He was involved in the Limos project. Probably the first freshwater underwater habitat projects. Was done around Tobermory near the Fathom Five Underwater Park in Ontario. Anyone have an email address or phone number?

Not sure if I would dive with this bloke or always dive with this bloke. He is either very unlucky or extremely lucky. I suspect unlucky but very competent. http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/third-brush-with-death/2008/05/26/1211653883 156.html

| Foot traction when using closed fins | 26 May 2008 03:48 GMT | 3 |
My diving is of the warm water variety. I typically take my Mares Superchannel fins (with heel springs that I've put on) and my Harvey's Kobalt booties. This combination adds several pounds.

For his overseer Ebenezer, and prayed for 5pm so he could (maybe) have permission to go home, I suffered through -another- heartwrenching day as an international truck driver:

| Stolt Dagali | 22 May 2008 14:20 GMT | 21 |
The past winter was not kind to the Stolt, I'm afraid. The galley and surrounding sections have collapsed (no clue where that big Hobart mixer went but I didn't look for it very hard) and some of the formerly wide-open spaces within (from last year) are now tight.

| Still legal without certification? | 20 May 2008 19:06 GMT | 11 |
I read some posts from 7+ years ago here that diving without certification is legal in the US. I'm pretty sure it still is, as the person who told me so is a dive master who has been diving for almost 20 years. Mostly, I wondering if there are any local laws I may need

| Scuba Gear Pricing | 18 May 2008 08:31 GMT | 23 |
Can anyone explain the huge range of pricing in scuba gear? I don't mean the difference between different manufacturers. I mean the same gear priced so radically different. It's not just a few measly dollars either, it's like 25% to 50% or so.
