Diving Shortsighted09 Jan 2008 05:13 GMT25
I'm interested in going scuba diving but I am shortsighted so usually
I have to wear either glasses or contact lenses.  Do diving holiday
companies make any provision for this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Just got this in an email. Wonder if it's any good.  No flash, and all the

The Guardian - about the USCG helo rescue swimmer training
basically "top gun" style movie for the USCG
We really liked it.  The bonus behind the scenes stuff was great.

Why we live in FL (on topic... what a change)07 Jan 2008 04:45 GMT51
Just got back from a great dive... 103' to the bottom, 170' long USCG
ship Captain Dan off of Pompano (N of FLL).    I used to dive this ship
a lot but for some reason I have not been on her for about 4 years.  I
took my 13 year old son (Padi Junior advanced & Nitrox certified) ...
Tennessee Aquarium07 Jan 2008 04:43 GMT20
I got the highlight of my Christmas travels yesterday when I drove
from my sister-in-law's house in Rome, Ga., up to Chattanooga, TN to
dive at the Tennessee Aquarium, on the banks of the Tennessee River.

Huck Finn06 Jan 2008 01:03 GMT89
I watched Meet the Press today a couple of times.
The best one had Steve Martin as guest.
I also saw Tim Russet interview Huckabee and later Obama.
I suspect quite a few GOPers contribute here regularly so I have just

your trip.
Death underwater02 Jan 2008 21:12 GMT3
Another year, another list of divers death. As many rec.scuba
subscribers know I have been monitoring diver deaths for close to 15
years.  Started collecting reports on scuba deaths after assisting the
Ontario Underwater Council in their annual fatality reports. I gather
