Buoyancy problems at shallow depths17 Sep 2007 21:52 GMT212
Well, I got enough decent equipment to dive in the pool, which is only 12
feet deep.  When I was having buoyancy problems during my pool certification
many of you told me my problems were due to the fact that I was too shallow.
You were right, because as I moved to my OW ...

That's the beauty of Usenet. We ALL get to express our opinions. And
the
nicest part is that ALL the opinions are correct! For the opiner! (Is
that a word?)   :o)
Mares Prestige regulator16 Sep 2007 21:04 GMT1
I am wondering if any of you heard of a regulator from mares called
"Prestige".
It comes with the traditional MR12T first trap and in the shop they
told me it's brand new. Anyhow, it doesn't show up on mares.com and

My trip report for Florida in June included this paragraph.
American Airlines had an annoying feature when booking online.  My
wife's Advantage Card is in the name Patricia L. Bracuk.  The online
form didn't accept periods and if I ommitted it, the name didn't match

Quickie Trip Report11 Sep 2007 23:36 GMT21
You were invited.  I had the best time of my life.
Drove to the destination on Friday.  It's 450 miles and takes between 8 and
8.5 hours of driving.  Average 30 MPG at about 60 MPH.  Stopped and ate both
going and coming making the trip about 9.5 hours.  Gas cost under $100.
Fort Lauderdale Moray Eel Dive Video11 Sep 2007 22:57 GMT14
I finally got around to starting to edit my Fort Lauderdale dive video from
late June.  Here is the first one, a three minute video.  We were doing a
reef drift dive when my buddy saw this big green moray eel in the crevice.
When we got on the boat, she said it looked to be 8 to ...
Diving off of Bermuda ?11 Sep 2007 16:01 GMT15
I was surprised to see a write-up about diving off of Bermuda in the
Sept issue of Sport Diver magazine.  The article talked about all of
the wrecks there and after reading it, I'm pondering going there.  I
never thought the diving was that good there but I can't honestly say

Smile.  My first picture09 Sep 2007 23:33 GMT2
Well, as many of you know, I started back to school last week for a
major career change.  I'm taking 12 hours, Monday & Wednesday,
essentially all day.  We have six off time labs, about two a month on
either a Tuesday or a Thursday.  Yesterday was the first.  I have two
