My son wants to do his fifth grade science fair project on something that will involve Scuba (or require him to dive as part of his research). He is certified and I'll be with him but neither of us havea great idea.

Wednesday, Sept 5, 2007, was the anniversary of my 28th year at the police department and also my last day before retirement. I previously spent 4 years in the military in law enforcement which applied towards my retirement, so, 32+ years on the job.

I hate to dispute your view, but for me it is a holiday, now. See I was pregnant and I was due Sometime in September. So guess who had labor or labor day? Yes, I did. Everything turned out fine. I now have a son. and his birthday is always celebrated on Sept. 1 and Labor Day!

I'm confused, I continually hear other divers refer to their octopus and they point at their alternate air source. Surely the octupus is the entire set of regulators,hoses,first stage and guages (a multi 'legged' thing hence the term octopus).
