I could use some good dive pictures if you are willing to share!12 Jun 2007 00:35 GMT9
Hey all, I put together a "Scuba Start Page" and part of the concept
is that there is a new scuba diving picture every day.  Well, right

public domain pictures on Flickr, etc. to get me through.  Turns out
Well, I finally learned to swim11 Jun 2007 15:53 GMT4
I finally learned to swim freestyle.  Now I have no idea what I'm going to
do with this new found talent, as one lap completely wears me out, but I did
accomplish my goal with the help of a lot of lifeguards who I think just
took pity on me. lol
Just saw "Open Water."  What's the deal?10 Jun 2007 11:39 GMT7
I had never seen the movie before, but heard it was based on a true story.
Unless the movie was "fabricated" from a true story, who the heck told the
story, considering how the movie ended?

My wife and I are considering vacationing to Fort Lauderdale.  What can you
tell me about the place and diving?
Thanks.
Any decent shore dives in Va. Beach area??10 Jun 2007 00:11 GMT5
I will be in the Virginia Beach area for a few days on business.
Won't have time for a boat dive but will have time for a shore
dive each evening. I dove in the LynnHaven area several times last
year but there wasn't much to see and the vis was about 3 feet.

What to do with free flowing regulators08 Jun 2007 21:00 GMT55
My wife and myself often dive as a buddy pair. We have not yet dived in the
local lake but we will soon start doing this. The lake temperatur goes down
to 30F which is lower than our minimum tempurature at which our regulators
are guaranteed.
Xios Tracker U/W navigation sys back in business!08 Jun 2007 18:29 GMT2
The Xios Tracker was a revolutionary sonar based underwater tracking
computer that was worn as a wrist computer. Unfortunately the Swiss
based company went out of business.
They aparently have been bought out and the compact navigation system is
Moose Jaw...08 Jun 2007 15:28 GMT5
Is nice this time of year, after breezing over the border yet again,
despite the best efforts of carLito and Yesman Mike.
All the Canadians seem so nice here, it must be something in the water
going East, or maybe the proximity to Quebec.
