A death was averted by a citizen with a gun, and he didn't even shoot the
a.shole.
Good thing he disappeared afterwards--cops, "who want to talk to him" would
The Habitat Curacao trip report11 Mar 2007 20:55 GMT5
Left Philly on Friday. USAIR managed to take 5 1/2 hours to get to
Miami. Plane late coming in, then needed a maintenance person to free
a valve so they could empty the toilet holding tank. USAir put us up
Friday night, but our lugage was locked down in a security transfer

This year's "Beneath the Sea" Convention/Expo 2007 is being held in my home state of NJ in 2 weeks.
Looks like all the manufacturers, agencies, local (and even some remote) dive shops, tourist agencies
and other related diving merchants will be there.
Here's the URL if you are ...

On another thread there was discussion about people who couldn't swim very
well learning to dive. This amazed me because surely you have to love the
water to consider diving and IMHO swimming is part of that love.
Luckily I lived near a Sydney Harbour beach as a kid and learnt to ...

I'm back from Belize08 Mar 2007 15:03 GMT6
Had a lovely time.  Weather was decent though diving was blown out on my
last day. Bummer.  Of course, the next day, when I had to leave weather and
conditions were sublime.  Sigh.
Only got 3 bug bites, must be some kind of record.

Back from Palau06 Mar 2007 20:06 GMT22
After a 15 hour flight from Hong Kong, and a bit of rest,  here is the trip report.
Logged 14 dives in total, most being wall dives along some of the best coral reefs
I've ever seen. I wish you could see them as well, but alas, I'm sorry to say my U/W
camera flooded on the very ...

Thought I'd chuck in.  I'm back too, from Cozumel.  A very successful
trip, 48 dives, 29 satisfied divers over two weeks, four days of
carnaval parades and 25 peso caguamas, and rekindled love for churros,
and a new found passion for marquesitas.
