Have an acquaintance that has to give up diving--medical reasons. He has a Dive Rite Transpac II that I like the looks of. I would like an opinion--from someone that has used one, or at least been diving with someone that does. Seems to

While I here working in St. Thomas I've been able to do a fair amount of diving. The most fun one so far has been diving in the ship channel. We picked a day with no cruise ships moving around. Duh!

| Good stuff - no more fog | 20 Mar 2007 03:33 GMT | 7 |
I just tried some stuff called Sea Drops which seemed to do a great job of keeping my mask from fogging. Also prepped it with more stuff called Sea Buff. Seems to work a lot better than spit, and I think the Sea Buff works better than toothpaste.

| Cap'n Tony/MV Becks Wreck WARNING | 16 Mar 2007 15:49 GMT | 2 |
The Cap’n Tony/Becks wreck has always been a fun and easy penetration wreck and the engine room was a good place to practice getting unsnagged. A few weeks ago, I did my 60th dive on the wreck, entered the engine room, and scared the bejeezus out of myself – large sections of the

| Question about correct action | 15 Mar 2007 05:58 GMT | 35 |
I had an interesting situation on a dive in last week. The location probably isn't important. My buddy and I decided we would do a shore dive. We rented a locker to stow our stuff and talked to the person in the dive shop about the dive. We decided would go left if there was no

I have not dived for 4-5 years now. I was an experienced BSAC instructor and have dived in Europe, the West Indies and the Indian Ocean. I am now over 60 and technology has moved on somewhat in 5 years.
