Doubles and back plate22 Mar 2007 02:08 GMT72
While I was in Curacao I saw a rig that I though was interesting. It
was a stainless steel backplate with two AL80's attached. It had some
kind if whing BC attached to it with straps and wrapped with bungee
cord. There were two infalters one I guess for each tank and two non
Dive Rite Transpac II--opinions?21 Mar 2007 13:54 GMT26
Have an acquaintance that has to give up diving--medical reasons.  He has a
Dive Rite Transpac II that I like the looks of.  I would like an
opinion--from someone that has used one, or at least been diving with
someone that does.  Seems to

Does anyone know of a way to take digital music and alter it so the

Diving for bottles20 Mar 2007 03:50 GMT10
While I here working in St. Thomas I've been able to do a fair amount
of diving. The most fun one so far has been diving in the ship
channel.
We picked a day with no cruise ships moving around. Duh!
Good stuff - no more fog20 Mar 2007 03:33 GMT7
I just tried some stuff called Sea Drops which seemed to do a great job of
keeping my mask from fogging.  Also prepped it with more stuff called Sea
Buff.  Seems to work a lot better than spit, and I think the Sea Buff works
better than toothpaste.

This was about an 8 kilo animal, which was making it's way from a
Cap'n Tony/MV Becks Wreck WARNING16 Mar 2007 15:49 GMT2
The Cap’n Tony/Becks wreck has always been a fun and easy penetration
wreck and the engine room was a good place to practice getting unsnagged.
A few weeks ago, I did my 60th dive on the wreck, entered the engine
room, and scared the bejeezus out of myself – large sections of the
Question about correct action15 Mar 2007 05:58 GMT35
I had an interesting situation on a dive in  last week. The location
probably isn't important. My buddy and I decided we would do a shore
dive. We rented a locker to stow our stuff and talked to the person in
the dive shop about the dive. We decided would go left if there was no
BSAC qualifications14 Mar 2007 23:28 GMT36
I have not dived for 4-5 years now.  I was an experienced BSAC
instructor and have dived in Europe, the West Indies and the Indian
Ocean.  I am now over 60 and technology has moved on somewhat in 5
years.
