I received the following message regarding a natural gas off loading
pipeline proposed for Port Everglades.  From the look of it, it will run
across the reef and then be suspended underwater some 8 to 10 miles off
shore.  The proposal indicates it will be roughly 100 feet below ...

Toby had a splenectomy last Tuesday.  As you may remember, he was
deathly ill on the weekend of Nov 10th, but recovered.  But they found
a mass on his spleen.  The surgery went well, but statistics said that
there was an 80% probability of it being malignant and a 55%

I plan on being in Florida sometime between the 5th and the 11th of
December.  I'm definitely going to end up in the Keys and doing the
Duval Crawl but I'm not sure just what days except that it will be on
the weekend, for sure (the crawl part).

There is a new trend with the dive boats in the Los Angeles area. That
trend is to NOT allow divers with  rebreathers on the boats period!
Bottom Scratcher, Great Escape and Sea Diver have made announcements

I've been spending some time in Asia, but didn't expect to have time to
dive. As luck would have it, Fearless Leader (tm) decided to tour SE
Asia, making it impossible to get hotel rooms in Singapore for the week
