going down to florida next april and taking my 8 and 10 year olds snorkeling off lauderdale by the sea you can swim out about 100 yards to the reef and even though they are good swimmers they would tire

The wife and I are planning a 2 week trip to Belize in a month. I was looking for some recommendations on good dive shops for taking lessons and doing the dives. We are looking to get certified there. Any good ones on Caye Caulker or Caye Ambergis?
