I need some recommendations for equipment that I hope to buy in the near future for warm water diving. Excuse my newbie terminology. The BCD's with the pockets for weights "appear" to be easier to deal with than weight belts which I find to be a pain. I get the impression

I am interested in compiling the various meanings and understandings of the word 'decompression' as understood by many of us divers today. From my experience and opinion, I understand the word to mean: de, as in removing or taking away and compression to mean to add external force

I booked my flight into Orlando for late on the 23rd and out early on the 29th. I'm not sure about the particulars as my buddy in Florida is not exactly rolling in dough (he works in Florida, 'nough said) and didn't commit to any itinerary.

i'm thinking of getting a non air integrated wrist computer with an analog pressure gauge and compass.. or maybe an air integrated computer with a compass attachment. everything i read says 'you must have a backup pressure gauge and depth gauge and ideally even a back up bottom

Having problems learning how to purge my mask - half mask fill, full fill, removal & replacement. Maybe I have a phobia, but everytime that water hits my nose I breath in water. Help!! Any ideas?
