Spent 3 dive days in Coz the week before last prior to ferrying over to
Playa and heading up to Cancun for a few more days. Here's a report on the

Whilst in Barbados recently I had the chance to do a snuba experience.
For those not in the know this is where an air bottle floats on the
surface and participants - up to four at a time - use 20 foot long (or
longer) air hoses to 'dive.' Participants do not need to be

On the fourth day of a scuba diving course in the Caribbean - with
water going up my nose and down my throat etc. - I developed a severe
sinus blockage. I could breathe OK through my nose, so this wasn't a
cold.

We are going to be staying at Kaanapali Beach Hotel on Maui the first
of May.  I have never taken a scuba lesson.  Some questions:
* My son went about 3 yrs ago and took lessons at the Embassy Suites
hotel there.  He said that it was easy to go through their lessons and

I'll be making a trip to visit Dad in Lake Worth and expect to get at least
one or two 1/2 day dive trips in while down there. (At the least, might do

Hi, I'm Duncan, and I just joined this group.  I'm a member of several
other forums, but some of them, like WetPixel, are pretty daunting for
an amateur.  As soon as I saw a diver take a break and discuss the very
