Cancun Report Snorkle Feb 18, 0628 Feb 2006 23:29 GMT3
Thought I'd let you know about my experiences near Club Med in Cancun
this past week. Or should I say what is left of Club Med. Every couple
years we go to Cancun and I walk to the snorkel area just off the point
at Club Med. Did the same this past week, but there is no reason to

Hi Again All!
Went back to Williston Florida for President's day weekend and picked up two specialty
ratings - Enriched Air Nitrox and Underwater Photographer. The Enriched Air Nitrox
was done at Blue Grotto (my 2nd visit there). Again, we went down to the 95ft bottom

I've recently started a new diving-oriented website, and it's coming
along nicely.  But one thing I need help with is pictures.  I'm
interested in your pictures of oceans, beaches and any other image that
would make a good header.  Please contact me at
Snorkeling in Belize Pics22 Feb 2006 17:12 GMT4
This may be off topic since it is snorkeling and not politics.  Sorry
couldn't resist.
We just got back from a trip to Caye Caulker to go snorkeling a couple
of times.  This link points to the thumbnails.  If you want to read
weight belt21 Feb 2006 06:36 GMT3
You know those old weight belts with the exposed lead weights?
I have one and I'm wondering if the lead is hardened with another
metal like antimony?
Thanks..
Diving in Croatia18 Feb 2006 09:43 GMT1
I want to build a comprehensive Web site that would display everything that
Croatian Adriatic has to offer to divers around the world.
For now I am only trying to see how big is the interest for diving in
Croatia. I'm asking you to help me by sending me some basic information.
Best Choice Dive Log Software?17 Feb 2006 22:13 GMT19
Newbie to the group... I have searched the web and these groups for
some direction on the "best" Dive Log software. So far I have come
across two posibilities that have not yet been binned: Scubase and
Sharkpoint. Scubase looks more comprehensive but I'm concerned it is
Canada Seal Hunt17 Feb 2006 21:13 GMT460
I got this from the Humane Society of the US.  I don't normally pay
attention to what radical tree huggers have to say.  Like the Brady Bunch,
they've been known to lie.  This one, however, sort of got my attention.
True or false?
Looking for info...15 Feb 2006 13:13 GMT6
I have never scuba dived and am researching courses at the moment. I
will be learning somewhere in the south of Spain (so any
recommendations/advice appreciated!) and am not sure if I need to do a
course that includes Nitrox or not. How necessary is this? Also, I am

I forget which decongestant is frequently used by divers. Reminders please?
Threats to Dive Operation14 Feb 2006 03:51 GMT15
This is about a Multi National Dive Operator trying to stop a small
independant dive instructor from carrying out his normal business.
And i think it stinks........
The small time instructor trades and resides here in the UK, he has been
Advice re: Problem with bottom of right big toe & fins12 Feb 2006 22:57 GMT15
A few weeks a go I got my Advanced Open Water Certification.
Everything went well except for the fact that I got some ulceration
from the fins I was using on the underside of my right big toe even
though the fin felt comfortable on my foot.
