Went south and went diving. Hit my old boat in West Palm, two great dives on the Breakers. Even with a new owner (that very day), my reputation apparently proceded me and they wouldn't take a dime. I tipped well and left corn liquor. Spent the night at Lee & Jayna's and

| Question: SSI vs. PADI | 22 Feb 2005 23:52 GMT | 10 |
My wife and I are planning to get started in scuba. We have a choice between SSI instructors and PADI; the SSI course would be more convienent for both of us to get to. Is there any significant difference? Anything we need to watch out for?

| Montego Bay | 22 Feb 2005 21:29 GMT | 6 |
As usual, I have to go to the USA in May. Last year I thought of nipping somewhere for a few days diving (flying my wife out to meet me) but we found it cheaper for me to come back to the UK and then for us both to fly straight back out to the Maldives!

| Recommendations for Caicos | 22 Feb 2005 13:33 GMT | 1 |
Were planning a June diving trip and thought Turks and Caicos sounded like a great dive. We are experienced divers (30yr olds, husband/wife), who prefer remoteness/solitude to modern conveniences. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good islands and good places to stay?
