Hey, I'm writing an article on scuba for a major men's magazine and I
need some side-bar info on trends or new products in SCUBA. Anyone
have any ideas that you've heard about? DOn't have to be elaborate,
just give me a product/company, place, event, whatever, and I'll do

Popeye's Keys Trip27 Feb 2005 00:16 GMT28
Went south and went diving. Hit my old boat in West Palm, two great
dives on the Breakers. Even with a new owner (that very day), my
reputation apparently proceded me and they wouldn't take a dime. I
tipped well and left corn liquor. Spent the night at Lee & Jayna's and

you have a few moments, your help with this survey would be greatly
appreciated. It takes about two minutes to complete. The survey is

Ok simple question. Anyone out there with any solid info about

Daytona beach diving.24 Feb 2005 04:00 GMT2
I will be traveling to Daytona Beach, FL in May and want to do some
diving.  Which shop(s) would people recommend for a one day boat trip.
I'm not interested in the guided tour thing, just take me out, tell me
what's there and let me dive.
south florida dive sites24 Feb 2005 01:30 GMT62
Does anyone know where I can find a GOOD list of south florida dive
sites? I have my own boat docked in Pompano Beach and go down there at
least twice a month. I purchased Ned Deloach's guide to Underwater
Florida, but I haven't had much luck with it and it doesn't even cover

Question: SSI vs. PADI22 Feb 2005 23:52 GMT10
My wife and I are planning to get started in scuba.  We have a choice
between SSI instructors and PADI;  the SSI course would be more convienent
for both of us to get to.  Is there any significant difference?  Anything we
need to watch out for?
Montego Bay22 Feb 2005 21:29 GMT6
As usual, I have to go to the USA in May. Last year I thought of nipping
somewhere for a few days diving (flying my wife out to meet me) but we
found it cheaper for me to come back to the UK and then for us both to
fly straight back out to the Maldives!
Fire coral22 Feb 2005 18:33 GMT9
I recently returned from a sailing/diving trip to British Virgin Islands.  I
hit my arm hard against fire coral while diving at Blonde Rock (was trying
to get a photo of a lobster).
The scar appears to be getting more red and swollen, and it now itches.  The
Recommendations for Caicos22 Feb 2005 13:33 GMT1
Were planning a June diving trip and thought Turks and Caicos sounded like
a great dive.  We are experienced divers (30yr olds, husband/wife), who
prefer remoteness/solitude to modern conveniences.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good islands and good places to stay?
