OK, not really. When the tsunamis passed under our boat, we were all aboard and didn't feel a thing. Our next dive, the last of the trip, didn't reveal any underwater damage. I believe we were far north enough (still in Burmese waters), as the Mergui islands were unscathed.

I just want to see sharks. I've been on quite a lot spots on the world but they only apear occasionly and are very shy. On wich spot (in the world) do I have a "full" quarantee they stay a while? Willem

I have a Viking sport drysuit with a funky zipper problem. If you flex the zipper in a smooth radius of about 5 inches, there is a place where the zipper wants to bend back on itself. (one area between 2 teeth of an open zipper.) It is a little rough zipping past this area,

I've seen in several news articles that the Thais were looking for volunteer divers to help clean the sea and the coral reefs hit by the tsunami. Anyone knows how to apply for this program?

We're going snorkeling in Belize in Feb. I'm a fairskinned bald-headed guy. I always use SPF50 waterproof sunscreen. I sometimes snorkel with a t-shirt on. What about my head? Do any of you have a similar problem? What do you do? I already see

I had my regulater rebuilt last year before i went on vacation. Unfortunatley I have not taken a dive since then (1 year). Should my reg be checked out at the local dive shop before my upcoming vacation?

Just got 8 tanks hydro'ed and now 7 of them are in for a visual inspection (1 tank is O2 only, so it doesn't need a visual inspection)... The hydro cost $12 (fire extinguisher shop) and the cheepest price I found on visuals around here is $6 for the inspection and $4 for the air ...
