Trip report:  Diving the tsunami26 Jan 2005 06:08 GMT73
OK, not really.  When the tsunamis passed under our boat, we were all
aboard and didn't feel a thing.  Our next dive, the last of the trip,
didn't reveal any underwater damage.  I believe we were far north
enough (still in Burmese waters), as the Mergui islands were unscathed.

Viking sport drysuit zipper repair?24 Jan 2005 17:02 GMT5
I have a Viking sport drysuit with a funky zipper problem. If you
flex the zipper in a smooth radius of about 5 inches, there is a place
where the zipper wants to bend back on itself. (one area between 2
teeth of an open zipper.) It is a little rough zipping past this area,

volunteer divers to help clean the sea and the coral reefs hit by the
tsunami.
Anyone knows how to apply for this program?
Bald headed snorkeling21 Jan 2005 09:58 GMT78
We're going snorkeling in Belize in Feb.  I'm a fairskinned bald-headed
guy.  I always use SPF50 waterproof sunscreen.  I sometimes snorkel
with a t-shirt on.  What about my head?
Do any of you have a similar problem?  What do you do?  I already see
reg question.21 Jan 2005 02:41 GMT4
I had my regulater rebuilt last year before i went on vacation.
Unfortunatley I have not taken a dive since then (1 year). Should my reg be
checked out at the local dive shop before my upcoming vacation?

around here is $6 for the inspection and $4 for the air ...

Were any divers caught in the Tsunami?20 Jan 2005 05:06 GMT15
Just wondering if anybody knows if any divers were caught in the Tsunami?
If so, what happened to them?  Were they in the water during dives or on
dive boats?
