Rebreather diver finds body at 271m in Boesmansgat
Australian rebreather diver David Shaw was attempting a world record deep dive
on a rebreather when he came across human remains at 271m inside Boesmansgat

Sorry if this is off topic but its closer than some I saw.
I'm looking to pick up mask, snorkel and fins for a trip to Belize.  I
don't think we're going to try for a diving certification for this
trip.

Last week, there were two couples on who had an incredible amount of
new equipment.  Not new as in the latest and greatest, but new as in
it was in the box on Saturday and on the boat on Thursday.  They had
never used it, got in late Wenesday and didn't do a shore dive so

  My son (15yrs) and I (42yrs) are taking a PADI Course here in SE Florida
and will be shopping for new equipment in the $3000 price range for both.
  Since we are new to diving we are not yet sure how much diving we will be
doing.
