Sea Hunt08 Aug 2004 21:03 GMT4
I'm sure I'm not the only one, but my interest in diving started with
the old "Sea Hunt" TV series. Has anyone heard about this series coming
out on DVD?
I would really like to see it, for one reason I want to compare the
Advice on buying a new boat08 Aug 2004 16:36 GMT2
I moving to Providencials in the Turks and Caicos Islands. I know the
basic boat I'd like to purchase, but there are a lot of aspects I'm
unsure of. I plan to cruise around, only for a few hours at a time. Do
some scuba diving. Only travel 10 - 15 miles from the marina. Should
Need some refresher dives-Northern N.J.08 Aug 2004 15:05 GMT1
I live in Northern N.J. (near Edison) and was wondering if I can get
some recommendations about Dive shops in the area where I can take some
"refresher' dives.  I'd prefer a place that has their own pool.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Open Water Film08 Aug 2004 04:12 GMT5
So who here is going to see this film?  I've read good reviews and bad
reviews.  I did see a review on MSN cable channel, the guy liked it, but
said the two main actors play yuppies.  Now, since I'm not a fan of yuppies,
I hope those sharks have a buffet on the guy and girl in ...
LI, NY Dive report (late)08 Aug 2004 02:15 GMT2
I've been real busy lately, but still haven't forgot to let others know
what diving in 'paradise' is like.
This past Sunday, we dove the Oregon again. Being a very large ship,
there is always discovery of something new that you haven't seen before.
Diving on Dawn Princess Western Carribean Adventurer07 Aug 2004 13:02 GMT3
My soon to be bride and I are both recently certified divers, and are booked
on the October 4th sailing of the western carribean adventurer cruise of the
Dawn Princess.
I have a couple of questions for the cruise / diving veterans out there.

more years than I can remember.
I need my glasses to see my feet.

Rockport/Brockville06 Aug 2004 16:30 GMT7
Can someone up there recommend a 6 pack type charter? The guy I used and
liked is in the Canadian Army, and got posted overseas. I'd also like to
hear about the "must do" dives. We've done Jodery, Gaskin, and Lillie
Parsons.
Diving Vacation - Where to Start?06 Aug 2004 12:09 GMT18
Ok, if I get Open Water Padi certified, then some time late in the year
or early 2005 I want to head off to some island in the Caribbean and dive
for a week.
But how in the heck do I pick what Island I want to go to, and then how
newbie advice and scuba network feedback06 Aug 2004 08:36 GMT8
I hope a few of you could give me some insight/recommendations. I plan
to sign up with Scuba Network on 21st and 6th to get certified and
hope someone who took classes with them can tell me about their
experience.
A question of depth06 Aug 2004 03:36 GMT16
Gidday, this is my first post here.
Last year I dived the Blue Hole near Caye Caulker off Belize. At the
time I had about 40 dives at home (New Zealand) in cold water and 15
or so overseas in warm water.
High Altitude diving05 Aug 2004 21:35 GMT4
I want to eventually do some dives in the crystal clear water of lakes in the
Sierra Nevada mtns.  The altitude ranges from  about 8,000 ft above sea level
to about 10,000ft above sea level.  Are there any sources of information on
high altitude diving online?  I am aware of high ...

but I have to work, Thursday.
I need someone on Thursday to introduce him to Edmonds UW park, or maybe
NITROX? 05 Aug 2004 12:48 GMT80
So what exactly does diving with Nitrox allow a diver to do?  I know it
allows you dive deeper, but how much deeper?  And how much longer can a
diver stay under compared to regular air?  According to my Padi dive tables,
you can stay at 95 feet for a total of 25 minutes, with ...
