LI, NY Dive Report21 Jul 2004 18:16 GMT7
It's 4am as I arise to get ready for another day of diving in paradise.
I don't know where we are going, but do know that 30% Nitrox in my tanks
will be fine. We usually know a week ahead of time, but the captain
didn't commit, saying we will see what the weather is like.
Good Magazine?20 Jul 2004 14:24 GMT8
The two-year subscription to Rodales given to me by my GF has finally
run it's course and I'm looking for a real diving mag.  Does anyone have
any recommendations?  I picked up fathoms and undercurrent from my LDS -
fathoms is too "techie" for me (I'm merely an "intermediate" ...
Capt Banny hanging up his fins20 Jul 2004 05:45 GMT4
It has been a great run, but all good things have to come to an end I have met
some wonderful people during the past 20 years or so, some have turned into
lifelong friendships. I would like to thank all those that have been diving
with me and especially those of you who have helped ...

They found my OTHER bloody U-boat! 19 Jul 2004 06:29 GMT3
When H-DSA started, I introduced an idea to search for a U-boat off Prince
Edward Island, Canada that may in fact be the U-376 which was listed as lost
off France. It could have actually survived the naval engagement that was
reported to have sunk it, only to have continued its ...

Going on a cruise to KW, Cozumel, and Belize. Obviously the ship's tours
are VERY expensive, so I wanted to set up our own dive tours in advance.
Any recommendations for dive shops at these locations?

Jamaica - question15 Jul 2004 16:09 GMT22
Benchmark: I've taken several dive vacations on Bonaire, Cayman Brac and
Little Cayman and have enjoyed every single minute.
We took a trip to St. Lucia (Sandals) a couple of years ago and I did
take my gear down, but the experience was awful - the dive setup was way
