I need to get a strobe to go with my digital camera (Canon S230) and am considering the Sea & Sea YS-25DX and the Ikelite DS-50. Anyone have experience with these. Thanks

Well folks, I'm gonna be gone for a week. Unfortunately, I won't be doing any diving (well, maybe a little :-> ). Anywho... I'll be looking forward to reading the latest flame fest when I return.

Awhile back, there was some talk about DIN vs yoke 1st stage regulators... Lee was mentioning awhile back about a 1st stage that was rated to 4000 psi... I just picked 3 first stages on eBay the other day and one of them is an Oceanic at it is rated at 4000 psi although the HP port ...

So we're watching the funeral when my wife asks "How did they pick those pallbearers?" I thought they might have been NCO's of the highest level from the various services but I saw one guy was a corporal or something. Sooo...does anyone know how one gets picked to be a pallbearer ...

I recently read some USENET posts concerning scuba navigation boards. One stated the rather than buying one, it was easy to make one using a Ritchie compass. Surfing the 'net, I see that Ritchie compasses are traditionally used on board boats. So I'm curious how well they stand
