tusa liberator mask lens installation30 Apr 2004 03:16 GMT4
I bought a TUSA liberator mask about 5 years ago.  I had prescription

the placebo or standard lens back in and remove the prescription
lenses.  I use soft contacts now, and prefer them over the

Preserving a metal/wood artifact?29 Apr 2004 16:53 GMT3

Yesterday, Sunday, April 25th, 2004, I was at Sea World in Orlando, FL.
In the lake/pond out from what they call the "Waterfront" area, there
were at least 15-20, maybe more dive flags flying from floats, or some
low (awash) structures in the lake.  There were no divers.

Shark repellent27 Apr 2004 09:44 GMT17
Back in the days of the Groupe de Recherches Sous-Marine, around 1950,
Cousteau talked about diving with cupric acetate ("fly-tox") shark
repellent tablets tied to his ankles.
Anyone know what this stuff is, where it came from, and why it was

I was looking around for a new Safe-Second and ran across the Atomic SS1
which is a combination inflator/regulator.  I would like to use it with my
Sea Quest Pro Unlimited BC, but to do so there is an adaptor required.  I am
concerned about the dependability of these adaptors. If ...
