Narcosis Triggers08 Mar 2004 07:39 GMT6
So the new guy at work is Vietnamese, and since it's lunar new year, he
brought in a ton of good food, and I spent most of the day snacking on spicy
yummieness.
That night I head out to Seacrest to fall in before I go home.  The plan is
Have drysuit for sale08 Mar 2004 01:29 GMT5
I have a drysuit I would sell cheaply as I'm not using it since moving to southern Calif.
It's a Canadian made Whites neoprene suit with SI Tech valves and neoprene seals suitable
for someone around 5' 6".
It is best suited for colder climes (Monterey Calif and colder). In spite of ...
Scuba diving in the area of Cartagena or Barranquilla Columbia07 Mar 2004 23:24 GMT9
I am currently in Panama City, Panama and will be traveling to the
area of Barranquilla, Columbia within the next week.
I was wondering if there is any decent diving in that area.  I was
told of a place called "Santa Marta" but can´t seem to find any

Continuing Problems with Underwater Photos06 Mar 2004 15:13 GMT35
Having been snorkelling in the Caribbean we took numerous films of
marine life using those ubiquitous underwater cameras sold by Kodak
Express, Jessops, and
Boots.

I would like to collect power boat recommendations that satisfy these
conditions:
- max about 20 feet (absolute max 25 feet)
- used for scuba diving (underwater photography) and island
Tobermorey06 Mar 2004 01:57 GMT7
I am trying to decide whether or not to dive in Tobermorey or a septic
tank.  Both are cold, low vis and have nothing to see but decaying
sh.t.  Both are useless unless you like risking your life.  Have 25
dives in tob.  4 on the arabia.  Did my first warm water dive last

Any advice on where I can get the cheapest ones, probably online?
Weird marine (?) jawbone found -- what is it?03 Mar 2004 17:06 GMT5
My father found this bizarre jawbone (or skull?) washed up on shore
while doing some paddling in the Florida Keys.  Anyone know what it is
from?  For scale, it is about 3" wide at its widest.

suunto companion re-calibration03 Mar 2004 16:31 GMT1
I took the battery out of my Companion for a replacement. When the
new battery was installed the computer was stuck in "LOG" mode. A quick
check of the service manual confirmed that if the battery is left out for more
than a few minutes the computer will lose all calibration data.
