where to go in the red sea?10 Mar 2004 09:08 GMT5
I'm a relative newbie to diving, got my PADI last year and I'd like to
go to the Red Sea towards the end of April, but not sure where's the
best place to go.  Which is the best place to stay Egypt, Jordan,
Israel? Don't want a package job, but would like to go somewhere

Crystal River, good day of fun !10 Mar 2004 00:32 GMT2
I did crystal river over the weekend and found it to be a good time
and pretty affordable for a day of fun. For 65 bucks you can rent a
jon
boat for the day and use it to snorkel some of the springs or to dive

One of the publishers/editors/writers or something else rides the GO
Train with one of my co-workers, so I was loaned a copy of their
inaugural issue.
Fly after dive question09 Mar 2004 06:37 GMT34
Hi. I'm getting my open water certification. Even the pool work is fun, and
I'm looking forward to my first reef dives in two weeks in Hawaii.
I am also a private pilot - I own a single engine Cessna. I plan on flying
to dive sites with friends and family. The info on post dive ...

I've been diving in Key Largo several times, and have these complaints:
1) location:  all the operations seem to go to the same place, were we look
at dead coral in very shallow water.  Is there any operation that will take
us to somethign different, better, deeper?  (myself and my ...

New Orleans (and nearby)09 Mar 2004 00:58 GMT3
I'm a fairly "junior" diver not having much of my own kit
(fins/gloves/boots/snorkel/mask). I did my PADI OW and AOW a couple of
months ago and am quite keen to get back in the water.
I have to fly to the USA to New Orleans in mid-May for a couple of days
Citizen Aqualand Watch Question...08 Mar 2004 23:51 GMT3
I have a Citizen Eco-Drive Aqualand dive watch.  On the face of the dial,
between the 1 and 2 o'clock numbers, there is a small red panel with the
word "call" on it.  Does anyone know what that is for?  The manual says
nothing about it.  Got me scratching my head!
Citizen analog dive watches ok ?08 Mar 2004 17:59 GMT24
Looking at some citizen dive watches, made the mistake of buying
digital
the first time and the so called "jumbo" digits were not so jumbo

Pelican Cases08 Mar 2004 12:20 GMT59
I saw a guy at FEDEX today with a load of Pelican cases who said he
swears by them.  I need a good gear box for dive trips and need
something better than an old suitcase.
What Pelican case is best suited for loading ALL my scuba gear yet
Deco Question08 Mar 2004 11:52 GMT9
Ive been diving for around one year. I Recently  started diving between 30
