Of those of you who use digital cameras for underwater photos...  how
many of you use the SAME camera (out of the case) for your land pictures
of the vacation.
We have a Canon S400 and love it...  I also see UW cases for this

Just wondered if anyone had an opinion on getting a 3/2 full o'neill
reactor dive suit verses the 3mm 3000x full. I will be using it for
diving (mostly carribean/Hawaii I would guess) but mostly will be using
 it in the summers on Hood River, windsurfing. The price of the 3/2 is ...

Has anyone re-created the code Eric Baker wrote in his "Decolessons"
paper?  I have, but my results are different than the sample he has
illistrated the the same document.  I'd like to compaire dive plans

      I will be going to Kauai this Feb. and I was wondering if there
are any tech diving shops on the island. Was last there in 1989 and
dove with Bubbles Below, real good outfit, but I don't believe they do
any technical diving. Thanks Al

Let me state (for the "record") that I am NOT trying to start a "debate"
as to which format is superior, but rather what might be best for ME and
MY OWN personal needs!

I'll be there with my better half in Feb. and he's going to go diving while
I do some snorkelling (I won't have taken my PADI course yet). Do you guys
have an opinion on a particular location/charter that would suit a
dive/snorkel outing?

help.  getting mixed reports.  considering taking my wife there for her
open water cert.  (i might dive, but not necessary).  i've heard
conflicting reports about ops, u/w conditions, food, etc.
anyone been there recently?

My daughter and I will be in Monterey Bay in March and looking to do a
dive.
We are both novice divers, but did our cert dives up here in Alaska
last Feb so we are familiar with dry suits a bit.

Girlfriend completed OW on holiday in November, but not got card from Padi
yet.
Anyone with access to the padi pro site willing to check that the diveshop
sent the details off? or if I am still waiting for padi! Would have expected

I recall hearing a while back that SDI requires all OW students use  
computers, and the teaching of tables is optional (up to the
